今天上的課程內容是RDA，我雖然已經把教授放在網頁的RDA連結複製下來了，但是卻沒有複製詳細的RDA檔案，所以當教授在介紹RDA裡的章節時，我手忙腳亂，想從網站上複製檔案，但是網路因為太多人使用，所以連不上網路，試了很多次都沒有辦法，又要一邊聽教授講解，一邊連結網路，所以很多地方都沒聽清楚，又因為沒有講義，所以只能用打的，不能複製貼上，浪費了很多時間。經過這次上課，給了我一個教訓，告訴我下次上課除了要準備教授放在網路上的連結，也要注意相關的檔案有沒有需要複製。

RDA: Resource Description
and Access資源描述和檢索
於2010年6月正式出版，以 Drupal 安裝成資料庫的形式，需要付費才能取得帳號及密碼。
自許為新的編目標準，已經將完稿發交出版社印刷，將於2009年取代英美編目規則第二版。資源描述和檢索從幾個層面超越以往的編目規則，它是編目電子資源的基準，並更強調對使用者的協助，包括查找、辨識、選擇和取得所需的資訊。資源描述和檢索還支援書目記錄的叢集，顯示作品與作者的關係。這個重要的新特點是一項令人振奮的發展，讓使用者更清楚作品的各版本、翻譯或物理形式。
資源描述和檢索提供數位與傳統資源的編目規定，把圖書館推向數位時代。它建立在英美編目規則第二版的強項上，重視使用者便捷地找尋、辨識、選擇與取用其所需的資料，它支援多個後設資料社群的後設資料共享，以及在圖書館記錄在線上服務的新用途。
